FREE PREVIEW is Only 2 Days Away- We are Getting Ready to Break Our Legs!

 You know what they say in performing arts for good luck, "Break a Leg!" Well we are so excited for newest production's opening, that we want to start breaking our legs right now! Here is a joke for you!

No but seriously, An Ideal Husband begins this weekend and if you haven't already reserved your tickets, you had better get on it right away! You don't want to miss out on this opportunity! It will be to die for! (Pardon my many puns).

The Seats are In!

FREE Preview night is just around the corner and we could not be more thrilled to present our new production of An Ideal Husband! With Freshly installed seats and a beautiful stage, the CSS Theatre is developing beautifully to captivate the audience in a one of a kind experience.
This is a show for all to enjoy and we can't wait to bring this wonderful production to you all!

"This Theatre's on Fire!" all Because We "Set Fire, To The Rain"

Hello everyone!
Just only minutes ago, some of you on campus this afternoon may have heard and/or seen the fire trucks come onto campus. We just wanted to let you all know that it was us! Yes we know, the theatre is such a "HOT" place to be!
I'm sure you want to know the real story which ends with a steamer... Down in our wonderful costume shop, where the ladies have been working so hard at preparing for the next production, we used a steamer and set off the fire alarm! We were so relieved that the firefighters and campus security were nice about the whole thing and some of the firefighters even smiled when we told them the story!

Stage Coming Together Nicely... Introducing.... Super-Megan!

Getting ready for shows is one of our favorite things here at the theatre! A lot of students have been spending time building the stage and we think it is coming together very nicely! Below is a picture of Megan after she experienced a mini heart attack after she saw caught me taking a picture of her when she thought she was alone in the theatre! Or was she acting? :) That is the question....

If I had a British Accent, I'd Never Shut Up!

We are so pleased to begin work on our newest production "An Ideal Husband" and thought you might like to know that the cast and crew has begun its work! We have many things to complete before we are ready for show time, but one of the things that has all of us excited is the BRITISH INVASION! To keep the integrity of this piece, all of our actors is studying "Acting with an Accent: Standard British" in order to get their British Accents in shape!
I am not going to lie, I find it irresistible to not attempt the British Accent whenever I get the opportunity! Let's be honest, we all love a good British Accent!

Activities Fair

Wow! Today was VERY BUSY in Tower Hall during the club fair! With so many exciting clubs and organizations all over campus squeezing into Tower Hall, there was not a lot of left over space! We want to thank all of the students that came to the activities fair and especially the ones who came to the Theatre table! Why not be involved in something fun and exciting? Theatre is just the place for you and we would be honored to have you!

"An Ideal Husband" Callbacks!

We appreciate everyone who turned up during the last two evenings to audition for a role in our Fall Production of "An Ideal Husband" that is going to be directed by Minden Hultstrom! Unfortunately, we have a limited number of spots in this production, but fortunately we had so many potential actors and actresses that we are having callbacks!

We can't wait to find out who will be filling the roles in this production!
